AT&T Pre (or Eos) confirmed in code digging 0

What a treasure trove this ROM image has proven to be! Our code demons have been all over this thing, and found numerous references to GSM, GPRS, and UTMS.

And that's just the beginning. I’m going to be honest, I am in no way a code and really have only a basic understand of what all that gibberish means. But with words like Cingular (i.e. AT&T) and GPRS and GSM and UMTS scattered all over the code, it means only one thing: the Pre and webOS absolutely are coming to GSM. Sure, we’d learned that before in round-about ways, but there’s just something all warm and fuzzy about seeing it in the code.
