AT&T's webOS promotional video: we like it 43

The webOS promotional video from AT&T's Palm Pre product page we linked to last Thursday has hit "The YouTube" and the blogosphere has weighed in: they like it! They really like it! 

Imagine: an advertisement for a product that actually shows some actual features of said product. We don't know if Palm or AT&T actually intend to release what we're seeing in the above on television (naturally AT&T can't comment), but we'd be happy if they did.

This is by far the best WebOs commercial to date. Saw it in a link two days ago on another site. And yes it should be released on TV.

Just a bit boring.
Needs something happening at the same time. This is one of those "ok I have this much time now to get a snack" commercial

Sure this needs more explaination and content and production but which is more fun..

seen it like it... But still not as good as that one fan made commercial with the palm pre sitting on a magazine... Now if they can combine the 2 commercial ideas we would have a winner television ad on our hands.

Finally an ad that highlights the best things webos has to offer!! People need to see and touch this!! Then they can come on over to precentral.net and relish in the fact that this is the best os and also get their overclock on!

I would love to see some reviews. Even when articles talk about Palm's supposed demise, they refer to the "well-reviewed Palm Pre" or "innovative WebOS operating system." Why not mention David Pogue's review of the Pre Plus, or quote from Popular Science... why not treat reviews like movies or cars do--fodder for ads?

looks like somebody finally got it right! I hope this launch on AT&T really helps Palm pull back in to the game! I love Palm and have been rooting for them since before the Sprint Pre launch!

I must say that this seems a lot like my PalmSpot commercial, just more polished and better video (but same idea, right?). I still think that it needs voiceover, though!

Adam that is indeed a good ad for the Pre as well combine the two an run it like ATT is running the backflip ad campaign and the Palm's future could be as rosy as ever prety soon and give them the $$ to get the third device out the door! Get it released soon Palm and ATT

As much as I like the user-made magazine Pre commercial, I like this one better. It's simple and gets the message across nicely.

Palm has had little videos like these on their Youtube Channel since the Pre launched.

I'm more of an advocate of those videos being used as full-fledged TV commercials, and I'm glad AT&T is finally doing it.

Good ad I agree. Especially good when compared to the garbage Verizon put out!

Where are the notification icons before the notifications? Good commercial and about as close as any have come to showing how webOS works.

Something tells me that Verizon always wanted the Pre to fail... They are in bed with Motorola... I know its far fetched but I hate the ugly politics sometimes...

best commercial by far!!! They hit all the selling points. Only thing ''best apps'' they need to improve their selection to win over these iPhone switchers, Palm Pre is still number one in my eye... All in all, great commercial

...just wish there was a document editing application that could be highlighted too. Good commercial though... hopefully they train their salespeople to push this thing like it should be pushed.

WOW. Finally, a great, convincing, understandable webOS ad that's not fan made. This. Is. EPIC.

AT&T, if you give a great launch for the Pre PLus (and Pixi Plus) I will forgive you for EVERYTHING. My hat goes off to AT&T- well done.

...this commercial (if aired continuously) will move devices off shelves like hotcakes!!! I think both Verizon and Sprint should release similar commercials because I think many individuals on those carriers still do not know what a Palm Pre is and the amazing things the phone is capable of. I'm not a fan off AT&T but kudos to them for this bad ass ad that will help Palm and webOS break in the big bucks =)

I saw a huge double decker tourist bus in San Francisco yesterday, with both sides entirely covered by billboard sized Palm Pre Ads. Not from ATT thou. Will try to get a photo for the forums next time.

Wow. I really liked the commercial. The music is what really defines who is targeted in this commercial. Like everyone else said, it's the best commercial to date for WebOS.

Needs a Voice Over if this ad is for TV. In addition show it run a 3D game instead of a splash screen would be nice. However, I really like the add.
