Access browser history 6

by Adam Marks Sun, 22 May 2011 12:44 am EDT

Just as on a desktop computer, a record of every website you access in the browser is saved to your browser history, giving you quick access back to those sites if you ever need it. Note that while every site is saved to your history, your device does not maintain that complete list forever. Only the recent history is saved, although that number of sites can still be rather large.

There are two ways to access your history from within the browser

  1. Swipe down from the top-left of the screen to access the Web application drop-down and select "History". Scroll through the chronological history of your browsing history
  2. Just start typing within the browser app. The bottom of the search screen will show all the browser history sites that match your search criteria.

And here i though it was a history of Palm OS browsers.

A bit embarrassing, but, I never noticed that :) I've casually wondered if/where it was stored. Thanks for the tip!

As far as I know, there is no way to selectively delete sites from the history - only an all-or-nothing option... right?

My fave is bringing it up through Just Type!

If this idea bothers you, you can always use Private Browser to keep your browsing history private!
