AllaKattan: Palm and Bollywood Hero 17

We'd already covered Palm's web-savvy Narrow World of Sports and how we prefer it to the (admittedly effective) Creepy Ads. Palm also has another ad campaign running - a sponsorship of the Independent Film Channel's Bollywood Hero.
The first spot shows the "magic" of the Pre and, well, if these are the features we can look forward to, we're pretty excited.

okkkkkk..... KATTaN enough!
I was entertained. :)
That commercial was ridiculous and completely pointless, why don't they show what the phone can actually do instead of making you think it has magic powers or can read your mind...
I was thinking the same thing. The phone can stand on it's own merit. It is a remarkable device that can be tightly integrated into one's life. After the beginning of commercial, I was certain this would be the case.
The iPhone commercials did a pretty good job of showcasing the phone's talents. Palm should do the same with real-world scenarios.
After being severely assaulted with "KATTAN!", I would be tempted NOT to buy this product. However, I suppose it's a commercial aimed at a specific demographic that would love to own a phone they think Kattan actually owns and uses.
Ummm yeah...I didn't get it.
But it can read your mind and does have magic powers Mwahahahaha Plam is slowly taking over the word...
LOL Not really but i do love my Palm pre....
I saw the add while watching Bollywood Hero last week.
This spot is wayyy too long.
If i were to make a pre commercial, i would just show someone sitting there bored... and they pull out their pre, and their boredom is cured. Seriously, that's why i upgraded from my 800w to my pre (besides winmo sucking), i just wanted something fun, something that played hi res videos, with a great browser and everytime i use it i'm constantly finding something new... it's just fun. no mind reading, no kattaning.
This is retarded.
I wish my palm worked like that. Actually, I would love it to actually have apps that I will use. Anyway, they should use that as the Palm Pre commercials.
