Angry Birds Seasons coming to webOS 21

by Jonathan I Ezor Fri, 03 Dec 2010 9:26 am EST

We know, we know. Angry Birds overload. But you should see our inboxes - the people, they want to know.

So: Rovio Mobile is apparently preparing another present for the webOS community: Angry Birds Seasons. The festive version of the uber-addictive game is just out for iOS and Android devices, but webOS users had remained uncertain whether we'd be included in the new release.

This morning, though, Rovio Mobile tweeted the following image with the caption "almost there":

that seems to provide the answer: Angry Birds Seasons is running on a Pre Plus.

Thanks as always to the Mighty Eagle and the crew at Rovio for helping to feed our addiction, and for their support of webOS.

do we have to buy this or will this be the update to Angry Birds?

If they do like they did for iOS and Android, it will be a separate app. I have no idea on free vs paid on the webOS version.

this is a good news!!!
oh wait, i'm a poor fool italian. I cannot buy it. maybe it will be available for all "in the coming months"
meanwhile I can play again the 15 levels of the free version for the 200th time! ;)

to bad the birds and the pigs came to a peace treaty, oh wells

=)

thank goodness!

I hope the seasons also include the Halloween edition too.

+ 10000

All that complaining in the forums for nothing. This will be the same with new phones next year. "If Palm doesnt do anything soon, Im gone.....Oh, they have an awesome phone coming out? I guess I can shut up then."

I hope we don't have to pay $1.99 .. iOS and Android is like free or $.99

Don't know about iOS, but Android is free, as in free beer!!

I don't need this on webOS, I can live quite happily playing it on my wife's EVO. The small screen of the Pre kills me playing this.

It is free with a annoying ad banner.

it goes away after 10 seconds. Its etter that paying 2 bucks. At least with my itouch I can pirate the app.

good for you, make developers suffer, which in turn makes us suffer. Your so cool!

cool story, brah

I think that being able to afford a smartphone data plan automatically makes a $2 application a reasonable thing. You've got more than that rattling around under the floor mats in your car!

I'd gladly pay some coin not to have annoying ads in a worthy title such as Angry Birds.

*edit* if it had ads, i'd likely not be bothered to even install it. I find it distracting, cheap, and annoying.

I guess you have never played it on Android then, you don't even notice them.

do we really want apps from the sort of people who wear thumb rings?

that ring is to balance his finger as he aims the slingshot. you should get one, because it could improve your game by as much as 20%

Im guessing updates will be released next week on the 10th. Since that is the one year anniversary of Angry Birds.

I wonder if it will have different levels according to season? Probly due to the name :D
