Does your co-worker have some kickin breath? Maybe you hate your boyfriends new shirt. Have the need to tell your crush you like her? How do you tell them without letting them know it is you? If you ever wanted to give news, but remain anonymous, then get Anonymous Texter. Now you can tell anyone what's REALLY on your mind.

Supporting an array of domestic and international carriers, this bad boy sports the ability to add URLs and even photos to your SMS Text Messages. All messages are sent through a third party service, so they do not count against your plan.

Also included is a quick and handy "Anonymous Caller" option. Block caller ID before you make that important call.

** This app is designed to prevent abuse and SPAM. You must know the carrier of the recipient and type a confirmation code for every attempt. Messages are one way, users cannot respond.

ha ha ha looks like I'm gonna have some fun. :-)

Nice link on the screen shot ;-)

Or maybe you could stop being so passive-aggressive and grow a pair?

Flandreau Indian School Reunion 1990-2000?????

While this could be useful, for me, as occaisional pranks with family members, I am a little concerned about it's potential for bullying. Any teenager's phone number can always be had, apparently, as evidenced by the few constant, swirling, vicious flame wars I've witnessed. I'm not calling for a ban or removal from the catalog, as I've not heard of any resulting deaths or anything, but still...

I am concerned about it as well and will be keeping an eye on things.

This is also part of the reason why it is a PAID app and not a FREE app. It will weed out those who must get mom and dad's permission to buy it before just doing it. As a free app, any ole kid could get it and run amuck with bad things.

So, I hope everyone understands that I considered the things involved with this and have proactively taken the measures I believe will help prevent abuse.

If there were an age rating for the catalog, I would have ensured it went as 18+. But also note that anyone can do this already from the carrier websites, so it's something that can do already.

It can be traced by authorities. Bullies w/ Pre's? Hmmmmm

"This app is designed to be abused through SPAM"

Fixed for you.

Glad I switched to a BlackBerry, which can be configured to block this sort of nonsense.

Have anybody seen the show Pretty Little Liars? I have thanks to my girl. But them girls kept getting texts from someone name A! So maybe A used this app lol

"but please use it for good, not evil, kids"

So, what is a valid reason to use this other than "evil"? (And yes, i include "pranks" in with "evil" because a prank to the sender may be a threat/harassment/etc. to the recipient.)

as I will look into this for pure amusement reasons. I plan on NOT abusing it. However I can see the concern on bullying. But the grow a pair comment can be taken 2 ways.

either grow a pair, man up and do it yourself and not hide behind a spoof app, or grow a pair and realize someone bulying you is just trying to get a rise outta you. The more you let them get to you the more they will continue. If you ignore them eventually they give up cause it's no longer "fun".

the state of our chidren is a concern with me. I work with youth groups here and there and it's amazing how each year our children become so much more emotional then the previous. I'm in my 30s and when I was a kid it was almost unheard of a teenager being on antidepressants or some other kind of emotional controlling substance. I have no idea how many kids I told just to ignore what a bully says and pretend they are not there... And the majority of them have come to me and said "wow that worked, it was hard to do but after a couple days they just gave up".. I don't know I just think our children are starting to get out of control... Lack of dicipline.. Parents are afraid to dicipline their children because of all the child abuse laws that have been passed because of the parents that went too far.

bottom line I can see this app being entertaining and could be useful for a shy individual.. But at the same time it could be harmful.. But then again guns are about as useful as they are harmful..

with great power comes great responsibility.. Lol

Lack of discipline, the overuse of prescription medications and a general lack of responsible parenting.

I've already found a great use.

My wife and I use it to command chores to our children. We always blame the other (parent) as to who assigned the chore.

:)

That is genius. :D

STALKER APP!!!!

Everybody needs to head over to fonearena.com and vote for palm pre. Show how strong the palm community really is. Here is the site: http://www.fonearena.com/blog/23073/smartphone-championship-semi-final-n...

Hmm, I bought it, but I could just bookmark the website it uses and that would be almost as simple. Aside from that, I have to scroll down to find the "Canada" section every time, where's my Country Preference setting?
It does seem to work though.

Have you tried emailing the developer? I bet you'll get A+ customer service that way...

But, it is set to show the popular carriers for your country. Do you happen to have your set to be US? A preference to change is coming, but for now it depends on what your device says it is...

theres another one for like half the price, and it doesnt show up as from that stupid texting web site. allright app though.

Its called anonymous sms. half the price, twice as good. no annoying captcha every time.

It's 50% cheaper, and no, not really "better" by any means. Less features, less carriers, and not as good of an interface.
