App Giveaway: 100 copies of Radius | webOS Nation

App Giveaway: 100 copies of Radius 257

by Derek Kessler Mon, 20 Jun 2011 10:07 pm EDT

Normally we wouldn't consider a unit converter to be an exciting thing. After all, it's really just a fancy limited-used calculator. But like any app, what makes Radius special is its design. It converts units just as well as any other unit conversion app, but does so in style. And to give it even more geek cred, all the fancy animations and whatnot that make Radius the app that it is are all programmed using Mojo. Down to the meat: Radius allows you to convert units in the categories of time, currency, volume, computer storage, distance, weight, power, temperatur, and area. You select a category, select your starting and ending units, and just start typing. It's that kind of ease-of-use we've come to expect from SuperInhuman Industries. After all, they're the guys that brought us Bad Kitty, and they're bringing to you 100 copies of Radius, just for you.

Contest: We have 100 copies of Radius to give away. Just leave a comment on this post to enter. Contest ends this Sunday at midnight PST. Please only leave one comment, multiple entries won’t count. Promo codes are only valid on carriers serviced by the App Catalog, and users must be running webOS 2.1 or higher with the latest version of the App Catalog.

Well designed app! I'd like to have this one in my collection ;-) Fortunately I have Pre 2 with webOS 2.1.0.
By the way, I'm from Russia and think to be the only having webOS device in my (650 000 inhabitants) town. Hope HP will change it soon :-)

Finally a unit converter for me! #vanity

Me too! I use this on my Pre3!

Ohhh yes please!

Woot! Love a Freebie!

I have had a Pre since day one (6-Jun-2009) and this will be good on my new Pre 2.

You mean I won't have to open my calculator and convert manually - or remember that if I just half my patient's weight in pounds, and then subtract 10% of that half, but add back around 10% of that 10% I'll get to kilograms? A cool conversion app would be nice! I have Pre 1.? currently, but I've preordered my TouchPad and will have Pre 3 soon! Hook me up!

I be nice if you give me one. promise

I would love a copy of this program and have been using various converters since my first palm pilot. Bye the way, the Palm Pilot, isnt that what really started the world of touch screen and apps.

I'm in

Would love a copy!

Here's my contest entry.

But I also gotta ask why this comment field only shows up some of the time in the webOS browser?

I'm on the mobile page right now, but this comment field wasn't here a minute ago when the page first loaded. So I went to the full page, then launched the page a second time from my RSS reader, then load this mobile page from that full page and it's finally here. Just really frustrating.

I'd really like this as my wife is from a country that uses a different system than we do here in the US, so she is often asking me how many x number of feet is, etc.

H P ! ! !

Within a few days, that is the second give-away I missed because I do not have official access to the app catalog!

Please get this fixed a.s.a.p. !!!

Else, I could use this app as well. ;-)

Greetings from Switzerland,

interesting! How about a german code :-)

The rubber pads of Vibram Five Fingers Shoes are tapered at the edges, and are imperceptible under foot. FiveFingers Sprint allows for better flexibility as the joints of the toes are not impeded by a rubber structure. The Vibram Shoes are a better choice for runners’ footwear.
