Auto-Update System Modification Technology to unite patches and themes in update glory 18

Are you ready for the next generation of updating patches and themes? Sure you are, don't doubt yourself. Even if you aren't, it's coming, in the form of WebOS Internals' Auto-Update System Modification Technology, or AUSMT. This new system is the follow-up the Auto-Update Patch Technology (AUPT) that's been for the past two years. AUPT existed purely for patches, making it easy to update your patches after an update to webOS.

AUSMT has been in the works for a while, but the moving of built-in apps with the webOS 3.0.5 update kicked things into high gear. AUSMT aims to make updates to patches and themes easier and will even help with failed/partial installations and removals of patches. Both Preware and webOS Quick Install will support AUSMT when it's released, as will the upcoming Theme Manager app from Sconix.

Sweet stuff! I give webOS Internals and all the devs a BIG hand! 3.0.5 patches now available in the Beta. Should be no time at all until they are reported stable and released into public feeds. webOS is grand :)

I gave $25 :)

This is a prime example of why this OS needs to live on. Thank you all a million times! I would shudder to think what kind of phone you guys at webOS Internals could put together with the proper backing.

Amazing stuff as usual, Rod & Co. Cant wait to see whats around the bend!

Congratulations yet again to the whole webOS internal crew. Your ongoing efforts show who's the real owner of webOS!

Since things are looking better, I want a 64GB
WebOs super thin touchpad at least with an additional memory slot. WebOs is awesome!
It's fans are diehearts, kinda reminds me of a previous dark horse. I can't wait for the new update, thanks.

Donated $25.

I am so thankful for all the long late hours of crane-necked coding. Donated, also. Press on.

Yea it would be incredible if we had an webOS "National Edition" built democratically by the users here at webOS Nation. I'm sure we could rename it "Internals Edition" since we know who the geniuses behind the whole operation is at this point. Shoo I'd throw in a couple hundred in order to fund a stable webOS "Internal" edition simply because I know the quality of a homebrewed webOS would be top notch!

Gotta love WebOS Internals for their dedication to the platform and community. I wonder if they will condure up their own version of the OS after it's opened up (ie: CyanogenMod).

Am I the only one who keeps reading it as AUTISM?

"Am I the only one who keeps reading it as AUTISM?"

No, but now I do. Thanks. :-)

p.s. webOS Internals, once again, are super heroes!
