Description
Do you ever want to know a little more about a beer before you order it from a bar? Maybe you would like to tell the world how good, or bad, the beer you just finished was? #Beer List is a front-end to a web-based database of beer tasting notes categorized by Country, Beer Type and Brewer, which has been designed especially for the Palm Pre and Pixi mobile phones. The scrolling lists allow the selection of an individual Country, Beer Type and/or Brewer. The beers can be displayed with tasting notes, including voting links, so you can add your own rating to the database.

The underlying database of beer tasting notes is updated approximately monthly, and at the time of writing includes 1,004 beers, in 100 beer types, from 47 countries and 432 brewers (there are currently 392 beers from England, 186 from Belgium, 88 from the USA and 77 from Germany). Any beer can be rated, and updated user-specified ratings will appear as soon as the list is refreshed, by clicking the Look or Show buttons, but will only include your latest rating, so don't think about popularising your favourite beer by rating several times as it will only count once!
