CEO Leo Apotheker laying out vision of HP's future 19

webos 3 notifications We're watching the livestream of the HP keynote and Q&A wherein CEO Leo Apotheker is laying out his vision for the future of HP, including webOS. So far it's general stuff - a shout-out of the "cool" phones and the TouchPad announced on February 9th.

We also spotted the image at right in an introduction video - it's a new way of displaying notifications in the center of the screen when the phone is locked. This matches how we've seen notifications appear in webOS 3 on the TouchPad. So there's that - presumably we'll see it along with webOS 3 on the Pre 3 this summer.

We'll update you right here as we find out more, but feel free to hit the source link to watch yourself.

Like the colors they chose for their visuals. Not the 'you will be assimilated' Borglike image of the Droid and not the elegant plants that some people found too prissy. (I loved the coral.)

Sprint Pre- here. Can't wait, Pre 3 with webOS 3 would be awesome. Shoot, give it to me with 2.1 I don't care. I JUST CANT WAIT TO UPGRADE FROM THIS UNDERPOWERED PHONE. Even tho I love it dearly ;-)
