Change Exhibition clock [webOS 3.x] 12
This tip is only for devices running webOS 3.0 and higher
You know the clock that comes up when your phone enters Exhibiton mode? Did you realize that there are actually three different clocks built into the stock "Time" mode of exhibition? All you need to do is swipe left or right to get access to the other clocks. You can also download additional Exhibition clock apps from the App Catalog, such as the free LCARS-Clock that will be sure to please any Star Trek fan out there! See screenshots of all the stock clocks and the LCARS clock after the break.
Do you have a favorite Exhibition clock?

Really? Who doesn't know this?
I have had clients who have used PCs for years and did not know about 'right clicking'. A lot of people either are not interested in finding out about additional features or just plain afraid of breaking something by 'playing around'.
Thank you. I knew there had to be different clocks.
My Favorite Exhibition clock? SimpleClock, of course (That's my app) :)
I really dig the LCARS-Clock, but I wish that the "scrolling numbers" did something more useful, like govnah values (Clock, temp, current, load, memory) over say (30second, 1, 5, 15, 60 minute averages) or were otherwise programmable. Maybe weather data or something. Perhaps include Unix epoch...
Love the LCARS clock. Agree with Dolio about having user programmable data as scrolling numbers. That would be truly awesome.
You can also dev unlock your device and change the image of the clocks :D
Just the other day, I accidentally learned about the other clocks available.
This may already be related tip. If you use your TP as an alarm clock, when the alarm goes off, you can press the volume key to snooze. So if you leave your TouchPad in landscape mode on the touchstone dock, the volume button is on top and intuitively you press it..
Thanks!! Just got a touchstone dock yesterday for my birthday. Havent had time to play with it but I was wondering if I could use the LCARS app easily in exhibition mode. I too wish the scrolling data was useful but still a great app.
LCARS is the best.
And thank you that I now know why there are three dots under the regular clock...
If you want a Star Trek themed clock (it's not Federation LCARS though) that has weather on it, try HovpoH HD. It's a free Exhibition app for the TouchPad.
