Delete an IM/Messaging conversation [webOS 3.x] 4

This tip is only for devices running webOS 3.0 and higher

Deleting a single Text/Instant Message or even an entire conversation in the Messaging app on the TouchPad is done in a very similar way as to how you would do it on webOS phones, with just a few differences. Just as on webOS phones, you can still Swipe to Delete on either an individual message from the pane on the right, or you can Swipe to Delete the entire conversation from the pane on the left. In either case, you will get an option requiring you to confirm your deletion or cancel the action. Unfortunately, unlike in phones, you will need to tap "Delete" after even deletion since Swipe to Delete in webOS 3.0 does not auto-confirm the prior action.

If you don't want to go down the swipe to delete route, you can also delete the entire conversation by scrolling all the way to the top of your conversation in the right sliding pane to find the large gray "Delete Conversation" button. Tap this button, confirm the deletion in the pop-up box and your conversation is deleted. Unfortunately, if you have a really long conversation, there is no way to quickly scroll to the top, so you might just be better off with the Swipe to Delete method instead.

How do you use the touchpad for messaging?

Over wifi for IM applications such as Skype or Google Talk, or via your paired webOS phone for SMS/MMS.

Isn't this only for the Veer or Pre3?
