Enable Delete Confirmation for emails [webOS 2.x] 3
by Adam Marks Tue, 29 Mar 2011 9:08 pm EDT
This tip is only for devices running webOS 2.0 and above
If you have ever swiped off an email to delete it and realized that you accidently swiped off the wrong one, you have probably hoped that the delete confirmation prompt that appears in other apps (like the Messaging app) would be added to the Email app. While this has been available as a homebrew patch in webOS 1.x, it is now available for everyone in webOS 2.0 and above.
To enable the delete confirmation prompt:
- Open up the Email app
- Swipe down from the top-left to access the Email Application drop-down menu and select "Preferences & Accounts"
- In the "MESSAGE LIST" section, just toggle "Delete Confirmation" to ON
- Swipe back to return to the Email app

...sigh
hahaha... I'm also sighing here brotha.
I'm curious to know what percentage of webos devices out there right now are 2.x.
I'd be really surprised if it's over 5%.
Glad to see things that patches addressed being offered in the actual apps themselves in webos 2.x.
A shame I'm on a pre- and don't have support for that.
