Facebook App: Getting support 1
by Adam Marks Tue, 07 Sep 2010 11:55 am EDT
Over the last week, we reviewed how to install the Facebook and Facebook Beta Apps, how to navigate the various sections of the app using the top bar or the via meta-taps, how to manage your news feed, and finally how to upload, caption, and tag photos directly in the app. To close out this series of Facebook tips, we wanted to provide you with some support resources if you are having problems using or installing the app.
- The Facebook for Palm webOS page on Facebook itself has a great FAQ tab with troubleshooting suggestions. That should be your first stop for any support issues you have
- One of the questions on that FAQ page is "How can I view the full website in the web browser?" They provide the answer to try visit http://www.facebook.com/home.php from your device, but we have one further suggestion for you. If you add "?sk=lf" to the end, will load up to your "Most Recent" feed instead of your "Top Stories". So try visiting http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=lf directly
- And of course, you can always check out the PreCentral Forums and ask a question of your fellow webOS users!
We hope you have enjoyed this series of Facebook related tips? If you have any tips that you think we forgot, please Contact Us and suggest it!

thanks for all the great tips!!!
I always wondered why it defaults to 'top news' and not 'recent news'
still wish the normal photo app had caption support for uploads to facebook.. Like the video app does.
