Flash placeholder spotted in webOS 1.3.1 browser

Earlier today we posted a video of the Pixi running webOS 1.3.1 and while that was cool in and of itself, eagle-eyed reader windzilla noticed something even cooler: the browser now recognizes Flash objects in websites. At 1:29 in the video after swiping through a few cards the screen briefly shows a view of PreCentral with an embedded Flash video (darned if we can't figure out which article that is). Instead of the empty space that Flash videos currently display, a placeholder now appears with a webOS-style Flash icon. While we still don’t believe that Flash will be in webOS 1.3.1, it’s clear that at the very least Palm is laying the groundwork for its eventual inclusion.
