List View
Go To Tool stores a list of waypoints in it's database and presents them to the user as a scrolling list sorted by distance from the current location with the closest waypoints at the top of the list. If the 'Sort' toggle is activated the list will continuously sort as you move, always listing the closest waypoints at the top. Tapping a waypoint in the list will open the Go To scene with that waypoint as the focus.

Go To
The Go To scene features a compass dial and needle that will guide you to your destination. As you move, the compass dial will rotate so that the N points North. The needle will rotate to point you in the direction of the waypoint. The distance to the waypoint is listed in the header next to the waypoint Name. Follow the arrow and watch the distance decrease until you?ve found the waypoint!

Maps
The Go To scene also contains buttons to launch the active waypoint into the Maps application on the webOS device. The Sat button will open your waypoint in Maps in satellite view at the maximum zoom level for a Bird?s Eye view. The Nav button will open Maps with driving directions from your current location to the waypoint. Spiffy!

Add New Waypoint
The Add New Waypoint scene let?s you mark where you are. When the scene loads it will find your current location and pre-populate the GPS coordinates. Add an optional name (?Car?) and description and tap Save. The new waypoint will be there on top of the List View.

Import From File
First, use ?USB Drive? to put *.loc or *.gpx files on the media partition of your webOS device. Then, select Import from the Menu in List View to import waypoints from those files. The Browse button allows you to select the file to import, the Import button loads the waypoints for preview and the Save button will add the waypoints to the database. You can limit the number of waypoints to be imported from 0 to 500.

Preferences
-Units can be shown as Metric or English
-Coordinates can be shown as DD MM.mmm or D.hhhhh
-Compass dial showing heading can be locked out if GPS is erratic. Then you hold the phone so N points North.
-(for Geocachers) Can show or hide ?found? caches in nearest search (in Add scene)

Notifications and Alerts
When the app is miminized from List View a Dashboard Notification is created to list the nearest waypoint and the direction and distance to it. This is similar to the way webOS creates a notofication of a new email or text message except that the nearest waypoint and distance and direction to it are updated as you move. When the app is minimized from Go To view a Dashboard Notification is created that shows the name, description and distance to the selected waypoint as well as a mini Go To display with heading dial and direction arrow indicating which way to go to get to the waypoint. When you approach a waypoint within a configured distance in Go To mode or when you launch staellite or driving directions a modal Popup Alert is created that shows the name, description and distance to the selected waypoint as well as a mini Go To display with heading dial and direction arrow indicating which way to go to get to the waypoint. The alert will remain on the screen below the map view so you can simultaneously use the Go To display and the satellite or nav view.

Geocaching
There are some additional features in the application for Geocachers:
- In the Go To scene there are buttons for Details and Log View whare a tap will open the respective pages on Geocaching.com focused on the active Geocache (buttons are inactive if link information is not found).
- In the Add New Waypoint scene there is a Near button that will open the nearest caches list from Geocaching.com in the same scene in a webviewer below the coordinate entry area. Tap a cache link in the webviewer and the details are shown in the same scene so you can transcrive the coordinates (I contacted Geocaching.com and they would not let me get at their web services).?
