Google AdSense gets a mobile upgrade 12
[ youtube link ]
It looks like Google's AdSense has been updated to be able to take full advantage of mobile devices that can render full HTML, such as the Pre, by being able to serve text and images on their websites that specifically target those devices.
The move makes sense, considering the smartphone market looking to grow by 27%, to 177 million units total this year.
From the Google Mobile blog:
New features like this help to nurture the smartphone ecosystem by encouraging the creation of more mobile content and by helping advertisers to grow their businesses by reaching new audiences. Our users' experience is also improved, with increasingly relevant and device-optimized mobile ads that load faster and fit better on small screens.

Ad's, Ad's, their good for your heart.
The more you click, the more they...get...your...info.
It was only a matter of time.
Would you rather pay or have ads in your app?
I would rather have ads....That I can block. =P
I would rather pay. I want the whole screen for my app, not ad's that I will absolutely NEVER click. I don't remember the last time I clicked an ad.
I would also rather pay than have ads. Ideally, for apps, there should be a 30 day trial version, and then you can decide whether or not you want to pay for it.
ads are better than paid, at least you get to try out the app be4 you buy
nothing a modded hosts file couldn't handle
^agreed! Lol
*Blitzed*
free apps are good apps to me
Boo!!! I will gladly pay for an app that does not have ads embedded in it. Google is not a Search company....they are an Ad company!
Yay!!! More ads! Just want I wanted! Now we just wait to add Flash and Flash Ad's to the mix to slow the browser to an absolute crawl and up data usage by 1000%!
