Google Buzz support officially comes to webOS 29
Google has officially brought Buzz support to webOS, as announced through its Mobile Blog. To access the mobile Buzz site, simply point your browser to buzz.google.com, and you're automatically brought to the "plain HTML" version. Scrolling to the bottom of the page allows you to toggle between the full desktop version and the mobile version pictured above. Previous to this, webOS users had to use a special link in order to force the mobile site to work.
It's great to see Google's continuing support of webOS - let's see some enhanced Maps functionality for the platform next!
Thanks to Phil, Editor of AndroidCentral and WMExperts!

oh good. Now I can tweet on buzz...
Yay. Not.
Umm.... "Coming Soon!" "Your device is not yet supported by m.buzz.com"
In other words, I don't have it yet.
weeeeee....
I do like the fact that they recognized lil ole webos, but I could really use me a google voice ap quite a bit more than their attempt at more social networking.
P2 google voice app...
works gr8
it's good that we finally have support. but, that's the only good part about it. buzz sucks, imho.
Yeah, but it's insulting that they redirect you to the dumbphone page instead of the mobile page. And the post doesn't even mention the Pre except for an addendum at the end due to a user complaint. But I don't even use Buzz, so. A better use of time would be towards Google Voice support on WebOS.
Goodle voice works fine, I use it all the time. Just bookwark it and drop the bookmark in your app browser. Done.
You can't play a voicemail, you can only see Google's attempt at transcribing the message.
P2google voice app
Umm.. considering that the mobile website already used to work with WebOS (just like most iPhone-ready websites do), all Google did in this case was have some browser redirect code put in.. hardly what one would recognize as "support of WebOS".
What we really need from Google is more attention paid to their basic app - how about adding Latitude, and fixing that interminable load time?
You are getting better ervice and attention than windows mobile has gotten.
we are just getting started people!
turn by turn navigation, I bet it will still come to apple first than palm, inspite of the fact, apple will place bing instead of google as a search engine in i-phone.
Wow, if you go to that blog post, they had to *update* the article in order to mention webOS support. They didn't even mention it in the original!! webOS is doomed not only because people aren't buying phones, but that its getting hardly ANY recognition!
As a number of UK presters have posted before, it's not so much enhanced map functionality we're waiting on, rather functionality that actually works for UK postcodes.....
I was the one that had them add WebOS on there page!!! WOOHOO!!!
Update Google Maps idiots!
In every blog I read that has the Google Buzz widget, it's always 0 or 3, nobody gives a buzz about Google Buzz!
Not found error 404 Sorry guys it does not work!
Can we get an google voice app! I'm tired of using the mobile version to find the number and call someone.
wow, do people actually use Buzz???? time would have definitely been better spent on different projects...
wow google buzz .... what the fuck am gonna do with that. this is really goin to change my world as i already have twitter facebook etc tec... lets get some good apps please not some copies of already exiting themes and 20.000 bibles ....jesus
sorry for swearin
lol, u can edit it ;)
sayn f*ck and jesus in the same post...
how dare u :P
what can i say..... im maried and got kids
Um, Google Voice is a much more crucial app than Google Buzz. Yes there seems to be a Google Voice mobile page that looks nice and consistent with this Google Buzz page, but you can't play your voicemails from that page! You have to go to the old version to find a link to actually play the voicemail! Fix THAT, and add features to the Google Maps app, and I will be happy.
Even when I use the old version via the link at the bottom of the newer version's page, I can't playback the messages. It errors out with "There was an error playing the file"
Yeah, Buzz is kinda worthless. Seconding native Voice Support like Android and BlackBerry have.
we have google maps? I forgot all about that
