Here's some of the latest discussion in the forums:
- If you think that being inundated with the goings on of people you probably don’t care about in Google’s new Buzz service on the desktop is fun, you’ll be delighted to know that the deluge will soon be making its way to webOS. Confirmation also comes in the form of Google's own Supported Phones table. If you can't wait, you can trick Buzz into working in the browser anyway.
- Video Recording is a feature coming our way in this month’s (which apparently didn’t come on the 15th) webOS 1.4 update, and forum member showmrock wants to know: are you excited?
- Speaking of that webOS 1.4 update, we’ll also be getting full on Flash 10.1. Impulsebuyer is curious: what websites are you looking forward to browsing with the new plug-in.
- Forum members are discussing which 3D games they’d like to see come the way of webOS next. Grand Theft Auto, anyone?

I'm kinda excited for playing the Zynga games on Facebook and making sure my things don't die =) (as for the Flash)
I'm using the Google Buzz force thing for posting on the go.
I'm also looking forward to recording things, especially when I'm with my little nephews =))

I was there when they first came out. Got one of the only 2 that Best Buy had in stock. I been waiting for this update and must admit I'm alittle disappointed on the 15th when it didn't come out.
Anyone now how I can get another plug cover for the Pre? I acquired a new one but with out the piece that holds it in the phone
I ripped the plug cover off by the end of june. It got annoying.
So far even with all it's minor glitches, in my opinion Palm Pre is still the best multi tasking phone out there. Video recording and Flash is a small price to pay not have but can't wait for it to be available.
Flash? Meh.
3D games? Meh.
Video recording? Meh.
Gimme more robust and up-to-PalmOS-standard PIM apps and a way to sync all my data to "the cloud" and/or my desktop - Windows and Linux (and not just *buntu). *sigh* And Mac.
Gimme a faster browsing experience with less page reloading. And make it load in the background so it's already loaded by the time I want to read it.
All in all, I'm mostly happy with my Pre and webOS. It just has to keep growing.
idk what's up with ur pre but mine loads in the backround? Mine loads faster than my parents iphone and mine never reloads pages? Are you sure you have a pre?
Well, I suppose you *could* be right but when I start an e-mail the footer says "- Sent from my Palm Pre".
I'm also not comparing it to any other phone. Slow is subjective and page loading on mine seems slow. If I compared it to a friend's iPhone and mine was faster it would still seem slow to me. (I'd also think that the iPhone was *extremely* slow.)
I am very much looking forward to bid recording,if its anything like the pres camara, it will be great. Friends are so jelous at the quality of my pics on my camara. Looking forward to adobe also ,I play many zynga games on Facebook and would love to play from my phone.
totally excited for video recording with all the Palm UI/synergy special sauce. I take HUNDREDS of pics with my Pre because the quality is great, the UI is responsive, and most importantly, sharing them is a breeze. I had a Treo Pro before the Pre and almost never took a shot. Ditto for video. If WebOS video recording is as nice an experience as it looked at CES (and I have no doubt it will be), I'm probably going to use the camcorder constantly! Palm GETS user interfacing better than pretty much anyone, so this is going to be worth the wait.
It's not just video recording. It's WebOS video recording!
I'm sure I will find many opportunities to use video recorder, I'm curios to no how many seconds it will let you record and how fluid the video will really be. Also curious about the format and how many people I will be able to send them to and if they will be able to view them on there phone.
the biggest thing I am personally looking forward to with flash is Hulu, at least I hope it works. It probably won't, as most things that would be great usually don't go my way. It would sure beat the hell out of what Sprint TV has to offer.
other things I hope for is continued speed improvements, I still get too many cards sometimes when I try to open Monopoly (no other cards open), would really like compatability with WM formats as many streams from my local stations are in this format, wouldn't be great to be able to listen to local sports broadcast when not near a radio?
Yeah, I can't wait for the video recording to get here. I just want to shut all those droid and ipeople up.
just wanted to let you guys no. That webos update 1.4 will be released by the end of this week or the beginning of next. I was told by a a sprint rep that it was delayed because of the leak from the sprint technician. SSO THANKS ALOT WHOEVER HAD THE BRIGHT IDEA TO LEAK IT! Anyway.... CAN't wait!
