Several days after Google went all screwified, Google has gone and unscrewified their webOS search results.
HP owns Palm, Google search works, and unicorns are real. Everything is right in the world.
Thanks to nicoled985 for the heads up!

It's about time! They had us waiting long enough.
Finally and sorry you weren't first!
I was getting so tired of Google, I was hoping 1.4.5 would enable replacing them as our default search option (lucky Verizon webOS users). Sorli...
Yes, I did see several Unicorns today!
Derek, you're incredible. And I'm glad its working correctly again. Whenever I did a Google search, the results automatically came up in Spanish, which I do not speak. Was that part of its screwiness?
"Sporatic automatic translation" as I call it has been an "undocumented feature" of Google mobile search since before Pre launched I remember ha ing the same issue with my HTCTouch
aww thanks lol
woo hoo I can use google to look up porn again! Lol the foreign languages didn't bother me much cause boobs are boobs no matter what language.. .....
you know... Maybe I should check my sense of humor in at the door before I enter pre central. Cause it might offend someone one day..... On second thought it breaks up the monontany of people complaining either about updates, flash or new hardware.. Lol

lol, well-played.
reported? What? I didn't say any bad words... OMG people can't take a joke! And I thought Palm community had a sense of humor... ( dev code = Konami extra life video game code... Classic)
+1 Keep the boob talk to yourself.
...but post the links.
well Morrison if saying the word "boob" is gonna get people riled up I don't think I can post links for ya... Lol...
it was a joke anyways... I'm such a BOOB sometimes.. Lol
haha, nice... 8^D
Don't forget international users complaining about not getting the app sale!
Wow, Bing has been working fine on device for a while now. m.bing.com
Why is it in French though when you search via the Universal Search?
Well...it has been going on for several weeks. Thank you Google for fixing the search page for mobile devices.
can someone try something and let me know if it works for them please? now that google is fixed, type in something to search for (like apple) then click on IMAGES instead of WEB....when the thumbnails come up, pick one, then while holding down ORANGE key tap the picture. you should get a pop-up that says SHARE IMAGE oor COPY TO PHOTOS. select COPY TO PHOTOS. IT will popup another screen saying IMAGE SAVED...BUTTTT, then when u go to the miscellaneous folder in PHOTOS, its NOT there! Please try this and let me know if I'm doing something wrong or still a quirk in Google. Thanks!
It is not saving for me either. Weird!
You can still use screen shot orange key + sym + p
holy crud your righ the pic isn't there... Looks like it's back to screen captures...... Fail
So far it is only searching in english as the default. Hopefully this is not a fluke.
I still think Google broke search on WebOS to bolster EVO sales during iPhoney4 launch

Sorry for the double post... Now I know ever to back swipe after posting using m.precentral.net
My Google still comes up Spanish when searching.
well my google was in french, chinese and spanish was pretty interesting
in ref to my post above (about google not saving images to photos folder) how can we tell if its a Pre' issue or a google issue? I'd like to report it to someone to try and get it fixed but don't know to who. Thanks
It still works. When you click on the image. It will take you to that image with a black screen. Tap the picture and above will show you two options:
Left) Back to result
Right) View full size.
Click on View full size. It will take you to the image again but this time with a white background. Now try to save it. It should work.
thanks, lost ghost, that works. Glad google is working again!
Excellent! Thank you LoSt GhoSt!
I do not like the new Google on Web OS. Looks like there are two columns making everything even smaller than before.
