I am trying to download hebrew font to my HP touchpad and get an error that says cannot open mime type.

I'm trying to install the s /w on my touchpad and pre2, but getting a message of can't open MIME type.

I would appreciate any type of assistance here.

Thanks!

same problem please help!

same..

It seems like Java/Java 1.6 needs to be installed. Anyone managed to find it?

I also cant do it,has anyone found a way to have hebew on the keyboard

Sounds as though this is a Linux item, not webos. Webos does not come with Java, and as far as I know, runtime Java appears to be un-installable on webos.

I had just installed an Arabic keyboard, which worked just fine. Then I installed the Hebrew keyboard. Also worked fine, and looked like it gave me three keyboards, in English, Arabic and Hebrew. But the language button on the Hebrew keyboard said "En". OK, I rebooted my touchpad, and voila, the Arabic Keyboard was gone, replaced by another Hebrew keyboard (although the language button said "Ar"). So, I reinstalled the Arabic keyboard version of LunaSysMgr, and now I have my Arabic keyboard back. But the Hebrew keyboard is gone.

How I wish our brilliant and generous touchpad developers could use a standard approach that does not lead to conflicts. Looks to me as though the conflict is in changes made to LunaSysMgr. But maybe all that's needed is to add Hebrew to the locale.txt file located in /usr/lib/luna/customization
It looks like it would be very easy to do this.

Later: Nope, it did not work; I used Notepad, and it probably inserted stuff that was unnecessary. The result was no language selectin at all in Regional sEttings, so I overwrote the modified locale.txt with the arabic version, and it worked just fine after a reboot. But No Hebrew keyboard.

just wasted hours of my time, trying to find Hebrew fonts, only to see the same royal run around described above!

I just downloaded it from a WinXP machine running Java 6-29 using WebOSQuickInstall-4.3.1.jar to

- Touchpad running webOS 3.0.4
- Pre2 running webOS 2.1.0

Restarted both systems and in both cases
got keyboard but NO FONTS!

What now?...

PS.. GOT THE FONTS by following instructions at:
