We’d like to take a quick moment to wish all of you that make up the best comment on the interbwebs - the webOS Nation - a very Merry Christmas and supremely Happy Holidays. Things will probably be a little slow around the site today, so don't feel obligated to be checking in every fifteen minutes. Yeah, we know, it doesn't feel right to not have that Pre or TouchPad in your hands - we're going to be doing the same. It's weird, but today's a "family calls" kind of day, being Christmas and all.
2011 so far has been, for lack of a better term, 'interesting' for the webOS community, and 2012 promises to be no less of a roller coaster ride. So here's to all of you and to a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas! All I wanted for Christmas was a webOS device, once again hp disappoints. I love my touchpad but now that my pre+ and my veer are both broken I'm back to my trusty palm treo.
But I don't want to put my TouchPad down!

First... Get ready for wave number two of new TouchPad users! There were a lot of TP purchased at the firesales for Christmas gifts. Another onslaught of folks that will get to experience webOS and be just like I was several months ago and say "this OS/UI ROCKS! Why have I never heard of this WebOS before?" My wife has had her "new" refurbed ebay/HP TouchPad for a couple weeks now and she absolutely loves it. AND all she's ever known in terms of smartphones / touchscreens is her iPhone.
Last... I made my regularly scheduled monthly call to Netflix (I'm a Blu-ray/online custmoer) the other day to continue to request a Netflix app. I encourage other Netflix customers to call from time to time.

This community is great. If you doubt it, go over to A|C and try to find any good content. It's lacking. It's so hard to find anything. Sure, maybe it's because there's no "Why no devices" blogging. But they are complaining about ICS and something called "Nexus" but there's no community feel. [minus the WOS is dead trolls]
