Minimize a dashboard notification 12

Even been looking at a notification in your dashboard and wanted to minimize it back to a small icon? If you click within the currently active app, it will minimize the notification, but that click will also register within the app and may result in an unanticipated action. Therefore, to minimize the notifications without affecting your current app, simply perform a Back Swipe or Forward Swipe in the gesture area, or press the center/LCD button.

With a first-generation Pre, clicking the button will also minimize a notification.
This works equally well on a Palm Pre Plus. Just tap the area between the light bar and the screen in the gesture area.
wow..didn't realize this... probably because I only use the button about once a year!
Still like the original way better. Swiping it down is so much more intuative.
I agree.
Agree 100000%!!
Here's a follow-up question... How do you dismiss (get rid of) a notifications, notification? I posted it in the forums here: http://forums.precentral.net/showthread.php?p=2555837
Another follow-up question.
When you have more than one notification in the same category, is there a way to see the other notifications without dismissing the first one?
I'd love that ability, but I don't think it's built in.
Yeah it would be great to expand stacked notifications from the same app.
The light bar on the pre plus is the replacement for the button, right? So touch the light and the notification will minimize no matter what state the card is in!
I miss swiping down to hide notifications. I occasionally try it just to see if it returned when I wasn't looking. Can a patch be made to add that gesture back?
