    I think the reviews of the kindle fire were fair since most of them indicated it did not do what an ipad did but was "good enough" for $200 but had concerns.

    The kindle fire is a 10x6 tablet which will not output HD video even though it plays videos well. The Nook has the same issue. It also does not do a good job of allowing you to read books and magazines well since it has the wrong ratio for reading them and the screen is too glossy especially in bright light. So in terms of a being a ebook reader it fails. Isn't that the main point of being a kindle? They should have called it something else then. Slow web browser is also bad but they can probably correct that. Even for a $200 tablet it should do better than that.

    Sounds like Derrek has a Ford Fiesta (they are a sweet little car). I have one myself and have been enjoying it.
