Derek, please tell us you grilled the folks at OpenMobile regarding getting 300k Android apps on webOS!
According to webOSroundup, it looked very promising but would need the webOS community to campaign for it.
I agree -- I tweeted Derek the booth number, sounds really exciting!
Imagine if you could go back in time three years to CES 2009, watch as webOS is being launched, see all of the folks from Palm and Elevation Partners, watch the Pre win the CNET award for best product at the show. You would see all of the press using the term "iPhone Killer" in their articles.
Then, go up on stage, grab a mic and say "Folks, I'm from the future. Believe it or not, this platform does not exist at CES 2012. In fact, the company doesn't even exist." Imagine what the reaction would be. It would sound off-the-wall crazy.
Doesn't any statement starting out with "Folks, I'm form the future..." sound off-the-wall crazy?
