I believe they think they're being flattering. My guess is that none of the males posting such things would even have the stones to talk to her, let alone say anything like what they're saying. (And that goes double if her husband was anywhere around.)

Not sure what just happened there, but I'll repost my comment:
My guess is they think they're being flattering. I highly doubt that any of the males making such comments would have the stones to say such things to her face, and much less if her husband or someone else who cared about her was around.
