Description

NesEm is a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator for WebOS.

Features:

  • Runs more than 300 games on Palm Pre
  • Supports four channel sound
  • Game saving
  • Automatic speed adjustment
  • Provides configuration of the game keys
  • Image smoothing (anti-aliasing filtering)

 

Prerequisites: WebOS 1.3.5 or above is required.

Installation: NesEm can be installed via Preware or WebOS Quick Install v2.96 or above until it is available via App Catalog. After installation, put your phone into usb drive mode and copy your games into nesem/roms folder on the phone.

Demo Version Limitations:

  • Games larger than 40KB cannot be run with the demo.
  • Games will freeze after some time.

Version 0.9.8 Update:

  • Added GameGenie cheats support for select games (list will grow)
  • Added keyboard support for diagonal directions
  • Fixed a few graphics glitches
  • Fixed an issue where save states screenshots were not updating sometimes

Does not work for me. I click load rom and the roms show up but nothing happens after that. Its a shame. I love Palm but I contemplate switching to droid so much because of these kinds of problems.

Just kidding. Purchased the app and it runs great. I wish I had a Pre just for the sake of a bigger screen but nonetheless it still kicks a$$

This is one of the best, **** the best well this n snes hd for ipad, but much better than any android emulator.

Works great on pre2 but pre1 only works when overclocking/govnah but thats a hardware thang not nesem thang.lol
