New in the App Catalog for 05 January 2011 12

I’ll give you three guesses as to what this post is about. Okay, the title probably gave it away. After an extended holiday hiatus, New in the App Catalog is back, and, well, it has new apps. We’re going to go over everything we’ve missed since the last edition, which thankfully is a fairly large number of apps. Here are some highlights from the last two weeks:

  • Astraware Mahjong is 3D Mahjong Solitaire, with more than thirty layouts and varying difficulty levels, plus features like autozoom and hints.
  • Dailymotion lets you search, browse, and watch the millions of videos on Dailymotion.
  • THE GAME OF LIFE brings the classic board game of Life to your phone.

updates are coming slow as well as new apps.. i hope HP has a Good plan to turn this around

Thank-you everyone for your support and downloads! It is refreshing to see the excitement!

We are planning a few more 'kid' apps - coming soon - hopefully this weekend :)

The turnaround time from app submission to approval was quite quick - even during the week between Christmas and New Year.

It looks like Hewlett-Packard (Nutsie) has joined AppBookShop, NanoNino, Soundboard Masters and Brighthouse Labs in creating spam applications with their TOP 100 music streaming apps. If they do a TOP 100 for every music genre that should increase the app count in the catalog by about 150.

where's the evernote update(s) that have hit in this time? (or so my phone has told me) oh maybe its in the beta feed.. Wonder what they're changing.. A site with changes (assuming we don't get what's better yet: in-app!) would be rad!

We need an angry Palm guy soundboard. I'd like to be able to artfully express my frustrations with Palm at the touch of a button. PAAAALM!!! Maybe it should be HP!!!! Since the Palm brand seems to be being phased out.

It's a little disappointing. I realize that very few people read the long list of new apps, but still...

Our app "Phone Card" is not the app to "Save your calling cards for easy reference and pocketability.".
It is actually the dialer for long distance numbers.
You set up once your calling phone card and then just tap any contact number to make a call using this card. It has also a lot of other nice features.
Is it possible to fix the description?
