New in the App Catalog for 05 May 2011 5

After what amounted to an awfully slow week, the App Catalog is back. Thankfully, it came back with a batch of promising new apps:

  • Motocross Challenge puts you into the motocross state of mind, where you jump, flip, and trick your way into the hearts of the crowd. Includes race, tour, trick, and multi-player modes.
  • NDrive got more releases to cover North America and parts of Europe, specifically Canada, DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein), France, Iberia (Spain and Portugal), Italy, Mexico, and UK & Ireland.
  • Kookaroo Roku Remote is a little rough around the edges, but we love that we can use it to not only control, but search, our little Roku streaming box.
  • Splashtop Remote Desktop seems to be the holy grail of remote desktop apps – it’s your PC or Mac desktop, fully controllable, on your phone.

There’s more, including a massive dump of public domain audio books for sale from Appible (yeah, we said it), plus plenty of other new and updated apps worthy of your attention.

i could seriously go for a Review on "Splashtop Remote Desktop" Precentral!!!!! I've seriously been looking waiting for a remote desktop app and is prolly the biggest thing that makes me feel like my phone is out of date being that WebOS really didn't have anything like this! VERY EXCITED!!! This may be what pushes me to put WebOS 2.1 on my legacy.

Yeah I'd like a review as well. How does it compare to other remote desktop solutions already in the catalog?

If I could I would buy apps in my country...

Look on the app page itself, i left a little review there that might be helpful for you.

Is it just me or is there an increase in the rate of apps being developed for webOS?
