Oh boy, now the Pre can fart, moo, and sound like a gun! Has anyone made a belch app yet?

One word of warning: don't use .44 magnum in a bank, or near any federal building or courthouse. Could be the last thing you do with your Pre.

There are two eructation apps, one is a combo with flatulence at that...

Yes, it is called 'burp n belch' 99 cents!!

Now all I need is a Cricket Sounds app....for those embarrassing moments of silence.... *chirp, chirp*

Actually, Soundboard has a chirp sound. :)

Homebrew or App Catalog?

So if we download the "Cow says moo!" app, do we have to pay a carbon tax?

Derek, I have to say I'm impressed with the number of ways you have come up with to say, "The list is after the break."

I can be quite creative when it really doesn't matter. :D

of course it matters, you're probably just being to cool to show that you care;)

cheers!

Totally, thought this smacked of Alton Brown myself...

I can't say I've watched him in anything that would resemble recent history...

Oh, goody! Another opportunity to see what old apps you want to sacrifice because the stupid, arbitrary, tiny app limit prevents users from downloading what they want. Yay Palm! Pffft.

And, NO!!!, rooting your phone and running Fair Dinkum or whatever such rot does not count as an acceptable solution!

Howsabout the Palm solution that is coming soon, is that acceptable? I thought that this was done since it's been all but officially confirmed at this point that the solution is coming, but I suppose you gotta squeeze in every last effing drop out of this dead, beaten horse of a "complaint."

App limit will be gone soon, so stop bitching about that.. what's worse? Yeah, none of those apps for Europe/Germany, not even the free ones!!! Take out the country filter, I'm seriously pissed! What is it good for, like we can't read Engish and therefor can't have English apps anymore, or what is it?? I'm about to dump my Pre and any future WebOS device, this doesn't make sense anymore if we can't even download the free apps (like .44 Magnum)....

Weird, mine UK Pre shows all the stupid "fart" apps from CTL Advance CSAT, AktNow, Fuel, iUS States Atlas and T9 Cryptogram Lite. Not much but better than nothing...

Totally 139 apps.

You'll shoot your eye out.

Maybe, but that's my risk, right? ;)

I don't understand how people run out of room for apps. 99% of all apps are worthless crap. What are you people installing?

Agreed... I have tons of apps, themes and patches (oh and e-mails)... and still have plenty of room on my Pre for new applications.

- Those who can, should check out the 'Fuel App' It blows the competition out of the water.

Thank you for saying what I think to myself every time I read that complaint! Peeps, time is valuable! Don't waste it by installing and trying out lame apps!

+1000

We don't know they are lame unless we download them.

Speaking of "waste of time" reading all of these stupid complaints is a waste of time.

no kidding.

Been trying to try the new apps since this morning, but keep getting App Catalog unavailable, Download Cancelled.

What up?

Not sure what the reason is for the problem, but I found out that if you do a restart it cures it.

That did it. Thanks.

I've actually found that a restart fixes just about everything, just like any other computer.

True, but not always the first thing that pops into ones head when you feel like throwing your Pre across the room. I (like some others) thought it was an App Catalog thing, not a Pre thing. Ho Hum.

I'm not going to complain about all of the "useless" apps. Someone somewhere enjoys fart, moo, belch, etc apps. So I'm glad they're happy. I'd really like to see maybe a top 20 useful apps list created at some point. Perhaps Precentral could do that for the end of the year. I know there are countless forum threads covering this but it'd be nice to have something more definitive. Give new users a way to navigate between the farts and moos and find what they really need.

Awesome. I can buy none of these apps in my country! Excellent! Thank you Palm! You guys must really love money!!

Where's the price for ius States atlas?
