New in the App Catalog for 10 February 2011 4

Surely you can understand why we’ve taken a few days off from the App Catalog updates.  From the looks of things, it seems as if HP’s developer relations team and developers were busy too, as there’s not a whole lot of newness from the past few days to recap. That’s fine, we suppose... we could deal with a some lightness here.

  • kwiki, currently available at an introductory price of $0.99, provides fast and simple access to the always-up-to-date mobile web versions of your favorite social feeds.
  • Photo Resizer allows you to easily batch shrink your images down to more manageable sizes (1024x768 800x600, and 640x480) while retaining the original file and not needing web access.
  • Sea Bird 2 follows up on the popular SeaBird RSS reader with feed discovery, search, a community database, improved sharing, read/unread marking, and more.

There’s more, and it’s after the break.

New apps:

  • Battle Frogging, $1.99, by Starwind Games. Fire your frogs out of cannons at the embattlements built by the evil swamp-destroying beavers.
  • Economics Reference, $0.99, by Quizmine.com. Get a basic 101 overview of Economics, from utility, supply, and demand to price elasticity and welfare economics.
  • kwiki >Early Bird Discount<, $0.99, by Alexander Cyliax. A fast and simple portal to the mobile versions of your favorite social feeds.
  • Love in America, $0.99, by Quizmine.com. A collection of three short stories of a *ahem* mature nature.
