Yesterday may have been comparatively light when held up against previous days, but it was still a pretty decent load of new apps. Granted, just about half of them were public domain books and plays from AppBookShop, but there’s still other stuff to point out.
- Connector for Salesforce.com gives you free access to your Salesforce.com account, so you can find leads and opportunities to exploit, err... pursue.
- News Radio for webOS is possibly the easiest way to tune into your local NPR news station.
- FlickrCam lets you take pictures and immediately upload them to Flickr.
More apps await, after the break.

Out of copyright books (or any books at all) are not real Apps. They don't really DO anything exciting or new either.
At best, they're just a single app being repackaged with new data and sold over and over and over again.
Does anyone really buy these books? You can get many of them for free from Kobo (browse & download directly to the phone), or with only a little more work get them in some sort of open ebook format and read them with pReader.
you won't have to do anything when you first turn on your new PRE plus it will ask if you already have an account with PALM and then you just enter your email and password you set up with PALM when you first got your first PRE and it will load everything, Apps, Contacts, E-mail Accounts ECT...
someone is buying them.. To each his own. My daughter does a lot of Shakespere so she will love having it on her Pre.
Moving to Pre+ from Sprint anytips on process to move apps etc to new Pre+? If you can point me to correct forum for help. Tks
Here is a quote from page 14 of the pre plus user guide:
"NOTE If you have a Palm profile from an old webOS phone that you no longer use, you can enter that profile email address and username to download that profile information to your new phone. But if you are still using the other phone, you must create a new Palm profile for your Pre Plus phone

Perhaps book 'apps' from AppBookShop and Brighthouse Labs could be listed separately? I hate looking through the new app list and having more than half be useless public domain books.
Where the hell is the 1.4.5 update? I'd like to get it before I get the new iphone 4! FOUR palm pre replacements were enough, I am so done with palm pre.
Still not one single good IM app for yahoo and msn lol like palringo love that app but has not come to webOS yet
