App Catalog It’s another day in the App Catalog, and that means that we have another app drop to pick through. Yesterday’s apps were an assorted bunch, with utilities, services, games, media players, and more. There’s a lot to check out, so we’ll do some highlights up here, and then send you past the break for the rest. Mkay?

  • SmartVision takes a photo, uploads and then scans and interprets it so you can perform what amounts to a visual search.
  • Snail Mail is a fast-paced visually-psychadelic racer game where you play a snail delivery intergalactic mail.
  • Handheld X-Ray H.E. takes the classic trick x-ray scanner and adds the ability to upload custom graphics for scanning (and tricking) of your friends.
  • MP3 Tunes gives you streaming access to your music collection on mp3tunes.com.

Thanks Derek, for highlighting my 1st Official App Catalog submission.

Handheld X-Ray H.E.(Halloween Edition)was made completely in Project Ares. Hit me up in the forums if interested in Ares development. If I can do it, seriously, a blind monkey can too.

Also, thanks to Warlord of animated backgrounds fame in the PreCentral Forums for making a couple of animated gifs for my X-Ray app. http://goo.gl/N8lu

I wish people wouldn't give the sound boards such a hard time. They have a market segment of people that actually like them.
