Normally we’re used to weekends being an app-free affair. But apparently the folks at Palm decided that late Sunday night was the perfect time to push out new apps. And so, here we are, recapping the newness in the App Catalog from yesterday, and I’ve got to say that Laminar Research really has a lot of different X-Plane flight simulators under their belts. I keep on wanting to jump in, but every time I feel like it there seems to be a new X-Plane in the App Catalog. You know what? I’m totally cool with that. More awesome 3D games, especially impressive physics-based flight simulators, are always cool by me. Check it all out after the break.

flash would be nice if it dropped today too! Along with 1.4..if rumors are true..oh what a day this will be for me
I was totally expecting this article to say "Welp, we don't do weekend app updates, but look...ITS FLASH KIDZ!"
But no...
It wouldn't matter anyway since Flash needs OS 1.4 to run
With a webos update expected to come out sometime today should we remove all patches before we update? I have installed many tweaks through webosquickinstall and also have autocorrect edit installed (a rooted app). Can we update webos while we have patches installed or should we remove them first? Does it matter? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.
Provided you are using the latest Preware and have updated all of your patches to the new AUPT system, you should be fine to perform a normal Palm WebOS update without removing the patches first.
Correct me if I am wrong.
After the update, as the patches get updated/approved to run on WebOS 1.4, they will show up as updates in Preware.

X-plane Helicopter. Finally. I was wondering when they would release this flight sim for WebOS.
I know that patches should be ok with 1.4 update. What about themes? Do I need to take the theme off before update?
