There are more French specific apps than UK specific apps and the Pre isn't even out in France yet! For God sake Palm can't you get on the phone to the developers of the apps for UK users on different platforms and at least ask them if they will write an app?
Where are these apps, London Tube, Traffic app, UK News app etc etc etc. The app store is still.......CRAP!
I agree we need some of these apps from the big companies, the difficult part is that they aren't developers. Getting TFL or London Underground to get a developer will be difficult, as they may not be aware of the pre, yet know all about the iPhone. It needs us to rally together to make it happen, let them know the platform needs their apps. Either that or get a developer to contact them and offer to make it. I would love a journey planner app!
I am working on getting Sky News to make an app, will see how it goes when I know more. Any advice on how I can convince them? I do work at Sky btw.
Oh and LeMonde is a French newspaper.
Doomsday Countdown - I guess that is that a prediction for the end of Palm.
i cant believe people will actually pay for some of these apps that are coming out...doomsday countdown ffs...
iPhone users have bought a lot of iFart apps so everything is possible...
lemonde.fr looks like it's an app for a local news site or newspaper.
Nearly 7 months now in the UK and no UK devs or the big companies doing apps, it looks like it wont happen. I would be keen to know if Palm actually take note of these things or do they expect it all to work itself out?

Le Monde is one of the most renowed french newspaper, equivalent to the New York Times.
Actually, their website is one of the best news website in the french language, with very good interactive content (for suscribers).
I'm not french. That's just the way it is :)
Just give me a bloody london tube app
Please, Please, Please London transport app. Also can I have a night bus app as seen on the iphone, what a lifesaver!
