Keep them coming Gameloft!

Hmmm, lets be a little more careful with our wording Derek! ;-)

**WE** do NOT have Flash on webOS 1.4 in the app catalog, Deiter has it on a Pre he is playing with in Spain...

You beat me to it.

We've got Flash on 1.4... and we also don't have 1.4.

Luckily, I've read the articles already, so I get it. Newbies, maybe notsomuch.

For every 10 apps there seems to be only 2 or 3 decent apps and maybe 1 good one, the other 6-7 are pretty worthless. Hopefully the ratio increases soon!

That's actually a decent ratio - the same, if not better, than what you'll see in the App Store and Android Market.

App Catalog is an embarrassment in the UK : (

I can't believe I'm going to say this but...Why can't I pay for decent apps? Grrrr!

Good things come to those who wait, till march ;)

It's an embarrassment in the U.S. too. 95% crap. it's quantity not quality other then Gameloft and a few exceptions many of which sadly i've little use for, like the Pandora. Good i just don't use Pandoratype services.

To hell with flash/video recording. When are we gonna get a real on-line head to head chess game?!?! Chess.com is a step in the right direction, but just not there yet!

Anyone playing the Helicopter game? This game is my new drug!! I know it's low tech compared to the PDK games, but there is something to be said for simple, brainless fun.

Or is this my inner Atari 2600 persona trying to escape from years of imprisonment?

+1

I love that game. Been playing it like crazy. Even got my wife hooked on it. First she thought it was dumb but then kept playing it. Now she is always taking my phone and plays the hell out of it!

ya. I played that helicopter game on my TI-82 in high school. Good times.
The TI-82 was much better though IMO

Ahhh nothin like a classic rom

Can Brighthouse Labs go away? Please?

Thanks.

On the bright side, their apps inflate the number of apps available...how many more of those until we reach 100,000? lol

Chess.com has been around for a few days now, and is not a new app. I have had it installed since it came out, though I haven't played any chess games on it.

gameloft has a chess game. kinda hope it comes out. But it's 99 cents in the itunes store which means it will be $3 to $5 dollars for palm which will make me feel gouged and eventually go, "don't need a chess game that bad."

there's an app in the catalog called "Fingerprint Scanner". But at the bottom it says "This is not an actual fingerprint scanner."

like this is the problem with a ton of apps on webos. They have little or no purpose. how about actually make an fingerprint scanner security app. the description says "pretend as if you're actually scanning your finger."

F-off with that. I want to punch these guys. And they are charging 99 cents for that. Fuck i can pretend my phone is shit it's not for free.

Just another app with no point. And didn't Palm reject nanplayer? Amazing.

@blackmagic Until Palm opens up some APIs such apps are impossible. Palm are doing nothing to give devs new functionality....

There are already a ton of new apps in the App Catalog.

Lets get to it Derek!
