Keep it coming Palm!

seriously, is anyone actually buying brighthouse labs apps??

I'm guessing there must be a market, otherwise why would they even bother making them?

They probably just want to say they have the most "5 Star" apps in the catalog. Palm needs to adjust the "hottest apps" filter algorithm so that an app needs more than a single review of 5 stars to be considered a hot app. You know it is just someone at brighthouse downloading each app and rating it 5 stars knowing that no one else will buy it, so they cant rate it down. That is why they have so many "5 star" apps.

This might be a dumb question, but why do you guys always write the words; "After the break"?

If you see the article from the front page of the site, where it lists the latest articles, you'll notice that it only displays the first paragraph or so of each article. And if you notice further, "After the break" appears at the end of what's displayed.

Thanks. :)

If you're subscribed to the rss feed, all you'll see in the feed content is the first paragraph before the apps are listed. That is referred to as "the break".

Thanks, guys. :)

i think there is also an element of it has becoming a trendy thing to say in the blogging world as i see it on blogs all the time even when there actually is no break.

We've updated the newly released Word Search Lite to address a bug that crept in at the last minute. Give it a try!

What is the point of all the quote apps?

@dbd On the full site there is a page break, on the mobile site you don't see it.

Thank you. :)

OOOOOO AHHHHHHH now we have over 2000 apps wow... come on Palm step it up we are being left in the dust

"As I Say" now uses "System Sounds". Palm still hasn't addressed delay issues with audio on Non-PDK apps.

Derek, could you also point out for the new apps which ones are available on the Pre but not the Pixi?

did they remove apps? This afternoon it 2003 now it's 1997

Unfortunately I can't.

May I ask why not? Not possible or not allowed?

I really wish we had some new apps that weren't quotes.

frustrating to see that mainstream companies are not developing apps for webos coming up a year after launch. with rare exceptions i'm always not going to be interested in the majority of these sorts of apps. I think facebook is the last app i've downloaded and sadly one of the only non integrated apps i use.
