New in the App Catalog for 21 October 2010 8

App Catalog Why, hello again AppBookShop. It’s been a few days, but we’re glad to see you back with a few dozen super-targeted new eBook apps to fill our days. Actually, outside of AppBookShop’s 28 new apps and a handful of new quote and soundboard apps, there’s not much to discuss in yesterday’s app drop...

  • Super Mario Bros. Soundboard brings the classic NES game’s sound effects to your phone.
  • How to Blog is our reference book here at PreCentral. Judging by our posts, we might be wise to reread it.
  • Look Angle Calculator should prove useful to the traveling-with-your-satellite-dish crowd, as it gives you the angle at which to point your satellite dish no matter where you travel in the US or Canada.

There several more new apps, plus the usual slew of updates, after the break.

You forgot to say 1st...

I need this like I need another hole in my head. Intel Atom? Gimme a break!

Slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow is what that will be.

Wrong article...

Look angle calc is nice addition & free!

Just a suggestion... instead of listing every AppBookShop spam app, could you just say they have X number of new books and put a link in to expand their offerings (like the Read the rest... links)?

Thanks.

"fully understanding the law"?

Ha ha. Ok yeah right! Good luck "fully" understanding the law. Supreme court justice don't fully understand every law. Laws are forever changing and its a ridiculously broad topic. That's why they have clerks.

i love these apps.

Soundboards and e-book apps (not e-books for a reader, standalone e-book apps) are going to be what the App Catalog will be known for, which is a little ridiculous. Maybe these guys found the way to make serious money off webos: flood the market and you're bound to get enough customers to break even.
