Another day, another app drop from our friends at Palm. What did yesterday bring? Well, we got an app to watch the Hope for Haiti Now telethon live, and even though the star-studded event is over we still encourage you to donate to charities supporting the relief effort. We also got a new 3D game in the form of NFL 2010, which all we can say is “about time!” with the Super Bowl coming up. Apart from that, there’s plenty more, so hop on after the break to check it all out.

haha, i like the (no nudity) part to the tipandstrip app description...that was the first thing my girlfriend asked excitedly when I showed the app to her! sigh...
Recipes are apps now?
CrAPP!
Have been for a while. Give "Recipes" a search in the App Catalog.
What else would you expect from Brighthouse Labs? Individual Sports Team Schedule apps?
So many possibilities!!! Next on Brighthouse- an app for every chemical element!!!! Get your Oxygen for $2, Gold for $2, Nitrogen for $2, Chrome for $2, Sodium for $2....
Don't give them any ideas! :)
Question: Has DirecTV NFL Super Fan always been in the app store?
Yes.
yup
Nice on the NFL App, Can't wait for simcity heh.
I check in with PreCentral at least five times a day from my desktop in the office. I was so frustrated yesterday evening that I couldn't make it home in time to view the live telecast of the Haiti benefit. Imagine had I know that the Haiti Relief app existed and that I could have taken my time in office, courtesy of my convenient touchstone mount.
PreCentral, that was a missed opportunity for branding, and for the cause most importantly. Somebody was reporting about it somewhere. Why weren't you?
Lots of love for you. Just really would have liked to see it in real time.
OMFG get a grip on life dude.... did u hear that 100000 haiti people are without water and power and that was before the earthquake!!!! and that the truth why dont u help some of the kids in the usa that need help fuck these countries that need help..... we need help are country is way worse off since nobama!!!!
...and this guy just told someone else to get a grip.
" and this guy just told somebody else to get a grip..."
+1 hahahahha
@buck
Forget precentral.

They can help you with your hostility.
Yeah Buck, we're waaaayy worse off than Haiti or [insert random-African-country here].
Always strikes me as highly ironic that those who can most benefit from Dems social programs usually vote against them.
Oh well... keep voting for "the man," Buck, just like FOX tells you to. The Republicans will surely cut his taxes at the same time as they stick it to the rest of us.
At least we'll have our [insert belligerent, populist statement of nationalism here].
Birthdays, Anniversaries, and More!, $0.99, by SplashData: Sync birthday and anniversary data from Google Contacts, add it to your calendar, and get alerts for upcoming birthdays.
Why doesn't the pre calendar do this by default? There is no reason that it shouldn't be showing birthdays in the calendar and reminding you natively.
That's a good question.
Would really be awesome if it grabbed birthdays from your contacts and puts them in your calendar.
With some O/S updating for web surfing, PalmOS could give WebOS a good challenge for PIM stuff.
I loved it when my Treo 650 would display my contacts' birthdays in the calendar. Why did palm get rid of that feature?
Palm died. Apple/Palm followed iPhone, not Treo as a model.
All that was great about PalmOS and Treo, was abandoned.
Bucklyo24 stop criticizing people's spelling until you correct your own and your poor grammar as well.
man, you people make me embarrassed for humans in general
haha why can't we be like most of europe? Socialist and happy, with wifi as an individual right. Glad I don't have a pixi tho, with no wifi, I'd be left in the dark (talking about the original pixi of course) lets talk about flash and how sweet its gonna be to finally have it on our pre/pixi... Or maybe that's for another thread... Oh well
I am sorry to see another porn supplier, but unfortunately when garbage like this is produced, people download it, free or paid.
Wow, politics here of all places.. oh well.
Yay for more apps, porn is good too, cuz guess what, without it we wouldn't of had internet. Yay for dirty nerds!
Tell me about it. Just when I thought I left a site full of barking and fighting with each other over the internet, this guy came along.
any news on what the nfsu update brought?
and btw, how crazy is it that after reading an article on new apps in the palm catalog, I now know what harry truman's approval rating was?
i hope gameloft releases all their games on pre. they look good on their website.
+1: Gameloft has a great catalog... I hope they're busy porting as we speak.
Still only 169 free apps in the catalog here. Still waiting for developers and palm to want my money (unlocked gsm pre in switzerland)
still shaking my head in dibelief...
need for speed is the best app ever
