w00t! (not)

you're either up really early, or you're not from the usa

Should every new title from the AppBookShop really count as a new app???

I'm the developer for BPM Counter Pro and Glow DJ! Glow Stick! and just want to say thanks for the mentions.

I'm also happy to report that new updates are already on the way for both apps. Glow DJ! Glow Stick! will be getting sound fx and BPM Counter Pro will be getting a metronome, tempo markings, harmonic mixing keys for saved tempos, list sorting, and built in glow stick :)

The updates have already been submitted and should be out in the next couple of days.

Thanks for the support and any feedback is appreciated.

Has anyone tried both Rockus Sound Machine and Easy Dreams? I have Rockus Sound Machine, and I like it, but the sounds are not quite as soothing as I like. However, I also have the Rockus Sound Sampler, which has 6 wave sounds and 6 rain sounds for the public to try out and (I think) vote on for inclusion into Rockus Sound Machine (RSM) at a later date. Of those sampler sounds, I have a couple wave and one or two of the rain sounds I like better than what is currently in RSM. So I use that as my sound machine right now.

But, if easy dreams is only a buck, maybe I'll try it too...then I'll have a choice! But I'd love to hear if anyone else has compared the two.

I don't own both but I do own EasyDreams. I like it. The developer travels the world and records the sounds themself. Version 2 just came out which includes more sounds AND the ability to add your own. Hope that helps a little.

Sigh. Will there ever be real productivity apps for WebOS? Not until Palm / HP supports low level languages and/or Java, I'm afraid.

There are plenty of real productivity apps in the catalog and they don't require low-level language support. But regardless, there already is low-level language support with the PDK (C and C++).

I don't see each book as an app. Books shouldn't even be posted and should have the option if hiding them if they are gonna release a dozen a day. Not against books at all, just prefer them made of paper and held in my hand.

Is it possible for you guys to do these app update posts once a week and highlight the best apps only?

Invasive Bamboo here and I want to say we released Virus Defense with new missions even though PreCentral only shows the Lite as being released. Can't figure that out, but remember to update it if you have it. Minor graphic optimizations for speed and clarity (Defense Towers now show level) and a couple additional fun missions to enjoy. Have fun!

If you haven't tried Virus Defense, download the Lite version where you can try the first 5 levels for free. It is very fast paced and addicting so give it a shot.

Good idea to let folks know...I have already updated and am trying to complete the new levels. Actually, I'm still trying to complete levels from your last update...level 15 I can not do! I did complete 16, but 15 is killing me...on easy! I have gotten 4096 points, but usually get around 3800 when I die...can't get rid of those yello/red combos.

This game is lots of fun and challenging...and, yes, ADDICTIVE!

1.4.5 :( Where are you?

but still no Adobe Flash huh?

So... is there going to be a US Version of the Jewel Quest 3... My wife would love that!

I grabbed Virus Defense lite last night and had a blast. How many total levels are there?

I grabbed Virus Defense lite last night and had a blast. How many total levels are there?

There are currently 20 missions/levels. I've enjoyed and completed levels 1 through 14 in all 3 hardness levels (easy medium, hard). I can't get Mission 15 for the life of me. I have gotten through 16 in easy mode.

It's about the best expenditure for an app I've made! I love this app and the Invasive Bamboo Team...was hoping to get their bud light with that endorsement...well, I don't really like beer anyway, Homer Simpson has just written me off!

Well if you did drink beer we would get you a nice 6 pack of a premium beer :-) . Thank you for the endorsement.

BTW, we had to play through all of the levels and beat them ourselves before release and 15 is a bear. It is doable, but it is a bear. Might have to tweak it.

Palm needs to do something about developers like AppBookShop or Brighthouse Labs. Sure...we have thousands of apps, but how many do we have without those two developers?

Agreed. In fact, I wish precentral would just omit these two developers from their daily listings.

Oh and by my count, they account for for 450 apps combined. Ridiculous!

how did you get thay number? I was wonderingalso and I get 140 apps when I search for brighthouse and 117 wheni search for appbookshop

http://www.precentral.net/search/brighthouse%20type:d_app_gallery?page=33

I didn't go through every page, but 33 pages x 10 apps per page comes to ~330 just for Brighthouse. 12 Pages for appbookshop gives us ~120 for them. So I guess the number is actually closer to 550!

That's a sixth of the apps out there, assuming my counts are correct!
