"New in the App Catalog for 25 September 2009"
September?
lol =))
moved back in time by 2 months
Too much turkey early??????
it's november crazy guy.
Some of these apps have received updates for "pticing"- it's that time of year. Turkey and alcohol is not good for you.
woah, time warp...but! look at how far the pre has come along since september, especially the app catalogue!
yeah, over 30 new apps, it's so cool that i live in germany and can use tham all. (please notice the sarcasm)
Wow! That's just like being in Canada! I can use them all! Provided I move to the US and get a sprint phone, that is.
I second that! EEEEEEEEEH!
is that it? in two months we've seen only thirty new applications? i find that hard to believe. there are posts nearly daily here with the applications being added to the official catalogue.
mind you, i live in the united states, and i know that europe is receiving updates later than we are.
that's not what he is saying. 30 new apps added TODAY
ahh, ok.
Your moving into the dimension sight, sound, and mind. You've just crossed into theTwilight Zone.
I was glad to see Tetris but not at $6!
There's finally Yahtzee for the few people who were complaining about it not being there yesterday...
I finally understand how it would be to live in country with very strict censoring. I can through other media ie this website read about the new applications but I can't get access to the App Store myself. Can't even see German applications even though my phone was purchased there.
Its all good having 475 apps in the catalogue, only most of us in the EU are able to access 91 of them. Palm needs to deal with this glitch ASAP.
how do you see 91, thats about 30 more than i have 64 to be exact in germany. for some strange reason i'm not totally dissapointed because it's part the failure of the developers not making an "update" to their apps so that we can use them too and i am totally satisfied with my pre.
I don't think it's a glitch. The App Catalog is in beta, but should come out of beta status in early December. I'd assume that at that time, everyone will have access to everything. Who knows... maybe even a flood of apps will come down the pipe, and the app limit will be lifted, and pigs will fly!
Lets hope so, unless its sorted in a while they might as well follow up the Pre and Pixi name with a WebOS device named Palm Pita.
is that your christmas wish lists? lol'
this is nice to see
Well, still none for me at all.
I have even decided to pull my app submission, as I feel that its being in the app catalog would only be detrimential to its usefulness.
No app for me there. Seriously the only app i am using are translator, and facebook app({kinda)... i hope good things come in the near future. Btw ppl happy thanksgiving!
Cool! a new fart app for only 4.99$
that's is one good and expensive fart! iphone fanboys will glad to pay double that, lol'
Here's an assignment for you, Sparky. Try and 'cipher what percentage of Pre's apps are fart apps, then do the same for the iPhone. Nuff said.
I have never seen an iPhone fart app for more than $1.99, BTW.
Is the Remote app 100% working? Trying to decide if I really need it, or if I just want it for the cool gadget factor. I see in the description, that it is Mac compatible, but the reviews are kinda sparse.
Anyone going to try the virtual keyboard app?
The reviews sound pretty bad. I'm happy with the preware version even though you have to uninstall it whenever there is an update.
Haha at least the debt free app is affordable!
$5 for a fart app?! I get 'em free outta my butt. Especially after all the Thanksgiving foods.
don't complain, iphone fanboys will gladly pay trible that amount!happy thankgiving.
Here's an assignment for you. Compute the percentage of Pre's apps that are fart apps, then do the same for the iPhone. Nuff said.
I have never seen an iPhone fart app for more than $1.99, BTW -- most are .99 or free.
You know, posting the same thing twice in the same comment section doesn't make it any more relevant, nor does it really help your cause.
Looks like a troll to me, fellas.
Neat! I tried to purchase my first app, but no luck for me! App catalog doesn't let me choose that I'm from Puerto Rico, so it can't confirm my credit card. Guess I'll call Palm tomorrow and see if they can add it over the phone or something...
I really don't care of there were 30,000 apps since I cannot install any because "My app storage is full", this is BS and shame on Palm for not fixing this issue yet.
$5 for a fart app?
I'd rather be thankful for the things I take for granted in my life and donate that $5 to charity.
Wher the #@$% is all the good free ones. The stupid IPHONE has soooo many good free ones, even the keyboardand, farts and soo many usefull/not-useful apps for free. Most pre apps suk or cost $$$$$$$$......... R.E.C.C.E.S.I.O.N HELLOOOOOO!!!
THE STUPID IPHONE HAS MANY USEFUL/NON-USEFUL APPS FOR FREE.AND I MEAN ALOT EVEN KEYBOARD,FARTS AND REALLY REALLY GOOD ONES.COME ON PRE HOOK US UP ...RECCESSION HELLLOOO..
It comes with a free caps lock key.
lmao landscape keyboard costs money? Next thing we know it will be 10 bucks for video recording when it comes.
your wishlist just came true!
Virtual Keyboard - $0.99. Great. So they want me to spend a dollar for what should be a basic feature of the phone. Like it was on the phone I gave up when I bought the Pre. Every day I own this phone, I regret it more.
Switcharoo owns. :D
PLEASE UPDATE THE FACEBOOK APP PALM!!!!!!!!!
x.facebook.com
my word. could y'all bitch any more? quit comparing the iphone and the pre on apps. apple took a year for apps. palm had them out of the gate. brand new os people. get your heads out of your #$%$#! you don't like the phone, sell it and get something else. you don't own one and have iphone, go over to the iphone blog and gripe. the only people with legitimate complaints are the users outside the us who are getting stiffed. they have reason, you don't. zip it and go away.
All these apps sux I wish I had a iPhone or a Hero...
Awww....I had the Hero for free from Sprint since last month after talking to several high up Operations Mgrs over at Sprint headquarter after being so deceived by the pre. i went thru 5 or 6 of them, the App store sucked..no useful app.. nein.. I love the Hero but I still get to keep my pre.. Im a happy customer..lol
