App Catalog A light day today for the App Catalog, but here's what we are digging:

  • Jewel Quest 3 World Adventure, $4.99, by Electronic Arts. Sometimes you just have to mach some shiny jewels, you know?
  • Google Fight, Free, This is a silly little app, but it's free and kind of fun: enter two terms and see which one has more results in Google.

Several apps are on sale as well to double-down on Palm's newly-extended half-off sale, including Sports Live, WiFi Media Sync (seriously, PC users, it's down to two bucks right now, just get it), OrbLand Labyrinth, and ActiveCard.

New apps:

  • Alco-Test, $1.79, by ScienceApps. Alcotest tells you the time of your maximum alcohol level
  • Domino's Pizza, Free, by Domino's Pizza Canada. Enjoy Domino's Ultimate Deep Dish, Crunchy Thin Crust, and more. Locate your nearest store by GPS or address and receive directions. Trial Program for Southern Ontario only.
  • Find The Pairs, $1.5, by Andreas Thenn. "Find The Pairs" is a game to train your memory.
  • First names, Free, by OLE WebDesign. This app helps you to find a first name 
  • Google Fight, Free, by ITS on Mobile. Know what's hot or not and which items has been searched the most.
  • Jewel Quest 3 World Adventure, $4.99, by Electronic Arts. Quick Play, Adventure, Puzzle, and Speed modes.
  • Moon Info Professional, $2.49, by roboter-teile.de. Provides exact calculations of moon phases and lunar details on WebOS.
  • National Park Reference 1, $0.99, by Quizmine.Com. A handy reference for US National Parks.
  • WxSpotter, Free, by Kiss-A-Ham Software. ***SpotterNetwork.org Members Only**** WxSpotter also allows you to click a link and go to SpotterNetwork's reporting webpage so that you can enter a storm report.

Looks like we're approaching the point where it will be somewhat useless to report minor updates to apps. I know a lot of these relate to the 1.4.5 updating, but after the PDK lights up, minor updates may create too much noise to track.

WiFi Media Synch isn't available right now. Anyone know what's going on?

I just hope we get alot more than games

Hey Dieter, are the jewels in Jewel Quest supposed to be matched or will they be moving faster than the speed of sound?

Good to see some classic games coming to the platform.
