Description

My first attempt at making a theme so please be gentle. Thanks to madolen for the inspiration. I will be making more themes based on movies once I perfect this one.

Minor edits to come.
1. Change the calendar icon but I am having issues getting that to work. Silly learning curve. (pending)
2. Implement to show percentage with the battery charge icon. Botched the JAVA script on first attempt. (pending)

Fixed dialpad and pinpad formatting errors caused by the WebOS 1.20 update.

always loved this movie awesome theme but i would like to know how its done. I would like to make some themes of my own

I am learning how to to this on the fly. Having knowledge of CSS, JS and XML is needed as well as some Photoshop skills.

I took some themes and dismantled them and saw how they ticked and carefully built a new one up from that. The first time through, I botched some Java and got some really bad results. I am now getting the hang of it and am getting this one close to where I want it. Once I do that, other movie themes will be coming.

I absolutely love this theme... and i wasn't interested in having any theme until i saw this one.

It'd perfect for this season... noww.. is it better if I wait until thursday to put in in my phone .. since the pre upgrade is expected then?? Or is it safe to do it now?

I would remove the theme by Thursday when the the new update comes in. I will be testing the theme with the new update and fixing anything that pops up.

Palm is pushing out the updates. time to remove your theme at least for now. After I update my Pre, I will test to see if the theme still works.

Hello you awesome developer-tinkerer person you! How would I set myself up so you could let me know when newly patched theme is up and running so I can download and have all the Jack I need to survive?

Anyone know if this works on 1.2? I tried some ones off preware this morning and they're doing fine. :)

Great job on this btw!! I love Jack, and all things TNBC (planning my neck/shoulder tat piece atm). You just made my fall complete. :)

I just put the theme on the new update. For the most part it works. I am having an issue with the screen lock password not configuring right. It works but it sure looks ugly. I will be looking deeper into it.

Found another issue with the phone keypad. The top bar that show the number when you key it in starts not there then appears when you start to dial. It shifts the keys downward. Potentially causing you to dial the wrong number.

oh .. well those are not that big of a deal i guess .. as long as people are aware of it before hand. I never downloaded the theme and i just realized they are unabled... ugh

any idea on how long it will take to activate downloads again?

Actually it worked fine with the new update i down loaded it right after i down loaded the update yesterday then went to try and do some advanced stuff on my pre and crashed it lol. hope you get this one up soon. Was wondering if anyone was going to work on a Soccer theme like Manchester United for instance hint hint?

Love the theme but the lock screen isn't working right in 1.2 on the two phones I have (one's my wifes I'm not greedy). It only shows Jacks head while i'm dragging it. Otherwise it just shows the yellow lock. Other themes work OK when I try them so I don't think it's the room.

for some reason i can not get this to work. when i go back to WebOS Quick Install and click on the Tools Menu, then click Themer it tells me no device detected. what am i doing wrong?

Did you make sure your Pre was in developer mode and plugged in via usb mode?

I downloaded and installed this theme but when I start the phone dialer, i only see the background image. No dial pad, no call history icon, nor voicemail icon.
Anybody advise??

ok i put it on and so i do everything from the tutorial but i am missing some of the icons pics and also the background everything else is fine on it. can anyone help me. my wife really wants this.

You can use Preware: Update feeds, then open themes, type in Nightmare and it will pop up for download. OR you can use WebOS Install, click on themes in options menu.
