Just some suggestions, but couldn't the browser and/or google maps be an old world map like http://www.sonofthesouth.net/revolutionary-war/maps/old-world-map.jpg or something.

Also, an old fashioned clock for the clock app would be cool, and maybe a piece of parchment with a quill for memos and/or tasks. Cool idea you've got, just thinking out loud here!

Maybe a steampunk style boot screen...that would be really cool.

I agree, this is a good start, but would love to see a total steampunk version. For example the music player can be an Edison phonograph, and perhaps abacus for the calculator.

Can you also change the icon for Music Player (Remix)? I have seen other themes do it, it makes sense because almost nobody uses the default one now.
