Open Community Letters To HP, webOS Based Tablet Talk and More... From the Forums 9
by Robert Werlinger Tue, 04 May 2010 11:01 am EDT
Here's some of the latest talk in the forums:
- Wanted: webOS developers for projects. User ginsnet is looking for talented webOS devs looking to pick up some work for their development house on a contract basis.
- Folks in the forums are definitely excited about the prospect of a webOS powered tablet, and are sharing self-made renders of what they'd like to see. It may be awhile before we actually get this kind of product in our hands, so renders will be the only thing to tide us over until we can.
- Windzilla has started to pen an open community letter to HP. The main point? Part of what makes webOS special is the community, on all fronts: the consumers, the developers, and and Palm's unique corporate culture that allows them to engage the community at large.
- Members are chiming in on what they think some the best protective cases for the Pixi are.
We look forward to seeing you in the forums! Not already a member? Remember: Registration is free, and the benefits are numerous indeed.

hmmm
what is it that made you ponder?
Just tried to register for the forums and I get an "Access Denied" error when going to the registration page. How can I get access to a page that will enable me to get access? Hmm, I wonder.

seems exciting
The posts about Palm being dead seem to have dwindled.
Is there an official Precentral.net app for webOS?
I was just thinking that too Jahooba. Not if there is an official app, but why not. Seems like PreCentral wouldve done this long ago. The one by The MX Web works good enough. Just curious to know why they never created an official one to view the forums without having to ad an 'm.' to the address bar.
