If you weren’t able to make it to the Palm Developer Day(s), or just want to recap what happened while you were there, Palm’s here to hook you up. They’ve posted 14 sets of slides from the various development-related presentations at the two days of the Palm Developer Day weekend, ranging from Intro to webOS to debugging to working with the SDL and PDK. If you weren’t there, soon enough Palm will be posting the videos of the presentations so you can follow along just like you were in Sunnyvale.

Just looking at a few of the people who gave presentations....
Wow, Aaron Ardiri is a name I haven't heard in a long, long time. Didn't he do Lemmings on PalmOS, and a Mario Bros clone or something too?

in fact, we are just about to launch all 10 of our applications on www.mobile1up.com that we ported to the palm pre PDK (info in the presentation) that are currently available on the iPhone. been busy with real "J.O.B." work - but i've always had a fun time working on these things as a hobby. keep and eye on this space :)
just a thought....I think palm tested the loyalty of developers last weekend by seeing who would show up to a dev weekend for a struggling palm....
then they finilize a deal with a gigantic company like HP days later.
not sure how many devs showed up... But who ever did must be happy as hell this week!
palm turned their backs on devs over the years as well... So maybe all can call it even and work together to make webos a top competitor for google and apple.
if you turned up - you got a free palm pre plus for development!
overall, everything worked out well - there was a great set of slides and the presenters were good. i also cannot wait to see the videos from the event, i surely had a great time networking with many old palm os developers and the new web os crowd.
Didn't they fill up and have to expand capacity?

What's with Palm and their Macs? Can't ppl save them as .ppt instead of .key? Grrr.....
Also does anyone have a copy of the "webos-services-in-javascript" file?
