Palm Launch Party Turning into a Seinfeld Reunion 12
On Monday Palm announced on their company blog that they would be having a VIP event to celebrate the launch of the Palm Pre. They've even got Jason Alexander emceeing the event! In the blog post, it was mysteriously mentioned that there would be "a special performance by one of the world’s best-known comedians."
Who could it possibly be? Well, both eWeek and InternetNews.com are reporting it's none other than Jerry Seinfeld. And unless you're from Mars or have been living under a rock, you'll realize that would mean Palm's got a mini Seinfeld reunion on its hands.
The event, which will be happening tonight at 7 p.m. PT, at Raleigh Studios Hollywood, in Hollywood, California, will both serve as a launch party for the Palm Pre and will go to benefit the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America).
Palm will also be showing off their new advertisement, which will run concurrently with the online premiere at 7:30pm PST on Palm's Facebook page. Dan Rumney of preDevCamp has notably admitted he'd be there. But he's not the only one, PreCentral's very own Dieter Bohn be also be there. Enjoy the party Dieter, there some busy days ahead!

now that would be a HELL of a way to give the PRE publicity if it was like a seinfeld reunion. that would appeal to almost everyone/anyone.
Guys, I've been reading about palm pre for months now, read the user guide, watch all the youtube videos and any news there is about the Pre.
I've got some questions though. How many of you will be waiting at the Sprint store to get one of these and how early are you willing to go so I can get there about 1 hour or so before you guys. I'm not the type to go waiting for days for this stuff. The last time I tried this was the PS3 release, and it went pretty badly. Almost a riot. I didn't get a ps3, but constant calling resulted in a kind person at the sony store saving a ps3 for me. Anyway, I don't expect the Pre release to be that bad, but I still want to get one. I hope there's some kind of person there establishing order of who got there first and all, and what are the rules of waiting in line. If you leave your spot can you get back in line. Can you hold a place for your buddy?
Post this on the forums and you will probably get faster/better responces
Remember that one show where they had a "Contest". We should do that assuming you can get a Pre on the 6th, how many days could you hold out from getting it.

Will William Hurley be there too so he can do his Palm stand up routine? Or maybe they should put him in a crib and feed him some mashed sour grapes.
