Palm Pixi (Plus?) probably UK bound 9

We don't have anything for sure here, but according the above picture of sales literature from O2 UK that TamsPalm was able to procure, it would appear that the Palm Pixi is set to go on sale in the United Kingdom for the first time since the Pre launched there last year. What isn't indicated in the picture is when the handset might go on sale, for how much (probably free on all tariffs) it might sell for, or if it will be the WiFi equipped Plus version (our bets are on "yes"), but it's always promising to see Palm get additional devices on additional carriers.

What they have in stock may be committed to other carriers and they're not going to replenish. At least that's what I'm hoping is the case... :-)

Really fatiguing on all the Pre/Pixi Plus releases.

The advantage of the Android platform is that some extremely cool device is either releasing or being announced every month.

While webOS is a golden egg, Palm needs to (and this has been said approx. a zillion times) hit hard with an ecosystem of devices. Apple established this ecosystem with the iPod, and Palm did not have that foundation, walking in the door.

Does it matter when Palm decides to execute, be it June 2010, Winter 2010 or sometime in 2011? Maybe as long as they bring the right product(s), the market will change around them, but that may be naive.
