no MSN?!?!? i thought that was one of the supported services!
I hope it gets added soon
ICQ is also missing.
LOL!! ICQ isn't on the same level as AIM/MSN/Gtalk. No need for ICQ on the Pre.
I noticed it looked like the cursor in the Message app was still live when in card view? Will it accept input if it's the centered card without zooming in?
is yahoo messenger supported?, i hope so, or at least come out with an app, that would be sweet!!!!
Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger in that order are the two most popular IMs and for them to not be included in the Pre is really a major screw up by Palm. As much as things may have changed at Palm, it still retains it's bad habit of ignoring the basics of what consumers want and need. It is actually shocking the number of very basic things that are missing from the Pre and the funny thing is these are features that have been on almost all Treo phones. I for one cannot stand Google as a company and refuse to use their over rated products.
Yes. Their over rated... free... products. You'll never use them. Ever. Because they're over rated. And free. Never.
Ok then.
By the way, I thought Yahoo was a development partner for the Pre, was it not? The Yahoo CEO is supposed to be making an appearance on Fox Business Channel along with Rubenstien. I wonder why he would be part of the TV appearance. To explain why Yahoo is not on the Pre?
Ooooh, I'm glad I'm waiting until August. I would have been mighty upset without Yim & MSN. Let's hope that's enough time for them to have support for Yim & MSN.
Also, the web-page method doesn't integrate into the Pre's contact list like Facebook or Google Talk does. I think you'll agree that it's a shame to have to pull up a browser to use IM rather than have it integrate smoothly.
