Palm Pre now available online and via Sprint telesales 21

If you’re one of those unlucky few who haven’t been near a Sprint store, RadioShack, or Best Buy in the past six weeks, then we have good news for you. With Palm Pre supply and demand stabilizing, Sprint has decided the reopen web and telesales for the Pre. Same price, same silly mail-in-rebate, same plans, no driving.

The Pre was originally kept from telesales and the web due to stock issues, then briefly added to telesales before being pulled. From what we've heard, though, Sprint employees are still being told that they cannot buy the Pre just yet.

I saw that too. Pretty sweet. I hope that's a good sign of things to come soon.

Someone (Dieter?) here at Precentral needs to get in touch with Sprint and get them to talk about the voice-activated dialing feature they list online.

I'm not sure about the Sprint employees not being allowed to get the Palm Pre. When I got mine 3 weeks ago (Buffalo, NY) both of the employees working at that time had Palm Pres. They said that they had them I think it was a week before the launch when they did employee training, but they weren't allowed to show them out in public until they launched. I'd never heard about that happening before, but they definitely both had Palm Pres.

I am on a greatly discounted plan through an employee and can tell you that sprint has not allowed their employees to purchase the Pre as of yet. The earliest date I've heard is December.

I am not Sprint employee but I have 3 sero accounts (50/30/30). Like I said before, I was able to select Pre from EPRP site, just like I can select samsung instinct.

They had them as their own personal phones, they were still using it when I went in to get my Pre a month later.
